Finally another year! Last year wasn't a lucky one for us. Right on Christmas day another harddrive took the dump and once again I had no working computer. Third or fourth time that year. There fore I could not write much for this website.
So, here's hoping the new year will be a much better one! But I dont want to start to philosophise about what this new year will bring. There is this nice saying:"Make plans if you want to make God laugh!", so I better leave it at that
I would just like to share with you what happened in the meantime.
In November I treated the boys with a Cat Activity Fun Board and the boys loved it!
But look for yourself what they do with it:
Baby loves it too; only with both Snooky and Muri at work, that was a little too crowded for him the time I shot this video.
I really like it a lot too; it is completely robust, washable, and those round modules can be taken off to clean them seperately. The bord is very sturdy and heavy enough so it won't slide over the ground when the kitties are at play.
The modules are well developed and I think there is one fun module for each and every cat.
Right before Christmas we got a surprise present: a snackball!
Who wouldn't have guessed it: Muri loves his snackball very much! Well, he loves eating But I found it quite amazing with which perseverance he shoved this thing around until the very last cromb fell out! So this cat toy is a definate keeper as well. It closes tightly (and doesn't open up at being pushed around) and the slider can be adjusted steplessly so retrieving the treats can be made a tad more difficult once the kitty gets into this game.
Last but not least I would like to invite you to our own little forum. Once you register with our site, there will me another menu visible on the left hand: "Member area". That's where you will find the link to the forum. I thought it is a nice idea to be able to talk to each other without being limited to 140 chars
It's still in the buildup and I wanted to adjust it to your wishes and needs. New areas are created easily - just post your ideas and suggestions there!

Sometimes we hear about things that bother and disturb us. Sometimes we even have sleepless nights over it.
Most things make us very helpless; there is so much misery and pain in the world, and so little can be done about it.
I know I cannot change the world. Let alone with this little website - but ever since I learned about the high-kill shelters in the USA, since I saw the pictures and videos of the numerous cats waiting in death row, I felt the urge to at least try to make a difference.
It might be just for my own peace of mind, but if only one person adds a few $ to the fundraisers I decided to put up here, then all the effort has been worth while.
Because that is all I wanted: make a little contribution to this hopeless situation.
Please take a look at the urgent emergencies; I will update them as they come in, at least on a daily basis.
We won one of the many quizzes at last month's pawpawty on twitter and today we received a parcel from our friend @frugaldougal, who generously donated this prize.
We received one gorgeous little catnip toy (and Snooks already took off with that one) and this huge, amazing stuffed octopussy, that has rattles in its legs.
